I hope the poster gets someone to take care of this tree. Most sawyiers will not deal with a single tree like this.

I love the fact that he wants to SELL the damned thing. What he needs to do is ask for someone to take it down for free, or bite the bullet and PAY to have it professionally removed, THEN sell the main trunk.
