I have been working on a table for playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game in my woods class. I made it all out of hickory wood, because we ran out of white birch. So far, I have made the legs of the table, and the supporting beams that connect to the legs and the table to so that the table won’t collapse. I made the table top before everything else, but unfortunately, the middle board of the table warped and then I had to cut it out. That’s where I am at currently, I need to get the middle board either replaced or flattened and then my project will be almost complete. After the table top is done, I’ll need to CNC route the Pokémon format onto the top of the table. The main reason that I am crafting this project is because me and my brothers often play this card game with each other with a flimsy paper format. I figured that it would be much more fun if I made a table with the format routed into the table. That is all I have to tell you about my project, thanks for reading!!

My son keeps asking me to play Pokemon, but he’s 7 and doesn’t really know how. Also he wants me to make him a table. Maybe I can copy yours. I don’t have cnc, however.

Have your say...
