Just packing up my inventory for my next Art Fair at the Tulip Festival this coming weekend in Holland, MI.

Discovering that packing up clocks is a big pain. If I were to continue doing shows (the jury is still out on that) I would for certain make more bowls and boxes and less clocks. The little moving parts make packing up tedious.

Regardless, I’m excited to bring my wares over to this two-day show. So far, it looks like the weather will cooperate! Of course, it’s Michigan, so nothing weather-wise is set in stone.

I’ll have a follow-up post to let people know how I did. I’m hoping to off-load a lot of clocks. I sold $681 worth of stuff at my Muskegon, MI show… hoping to clear $1K in Holland.

Now that I can run the grinder in the backyard, I’m hoping to get back to some rustic bowls made from burl and gall.

I already purchased my license for fly fishing, and I imagine I’ll find some decent burl and gall to work with.

I’m in the process of cleaning up the garage/workshop, which is pretty bad after a winter of outdoor woodworking. It was so cold that cleaning up afterwards was not a priority.

Ditto that! Be sure to caffinate 8^)

Your inventory should be sufficient so that if someone sees something they “sorta” like, you can pull out one that they’ll really like.

I’m just hoping to come home lighter… especially lighter of clocks.
