I posted this and somehow it was lost so I’m posting this again. These are a few of my Great Grandfather’s tools that were passed down. I’m cleaning them up for use. I already started with the pruning saw. Thanks to gfadvm, i learned what type of oil and wax I might use. Another LJ, katilicious, told me about the one saw being a Disston. This was fun researching. I found it is a D8 model which was somewhat of an industry standard for carpenters in it’s time. The medallion eludes to this one being a 1940/100th Anniversary Edition. This is a 26” long model as well. i will post the finished restoration on these tools when I’m finished. Thanks to the fellas who gave me the advice.
