Location: Coronado California

- Retired Navy Pilot (30 years)
- My father was a General Contractor and I worked for him starting in grade school and continued until I graduated from college. While working for my Dad, I began my journey with wood by sweeping the work shops/cleaning job sites and at the end I was a finish carpenter (trim, kitchen cabinets, stairs, ect).
- I have continued working with wood off and on as time/location/deployments allowed while in the Navy.
- Over the years I have completed numerous projects - beds, tables, chests, book cases, completely renovated two kitchens, an office and two "fixer up" houses.
- I now work full time as a CEO of an Aerospace Engineering firm which keeps me rather busy. When I am not traveling, I try to spend some time on the weekends in my shop (i.e., two car garage).
- I still consider myself an amateur as I continue to build my skill sets and expand my inventory of hand and power tools.

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

I very much appreciate the welcome aboard comments. I have been viewing Lumberjocks for a few months now and finally took the time to sign up and become part of the family. This is an outstanding site with so much to offer. I look forward to many years of discussion as I continue my woodworking journey.
