« Part 4: Wood Part 5 of Opportunity series Part 6: My Sacred Hand Drum »

My sister-in-law and I went on our second road trip today and we headed back to an antique shop that we visited on the last trip.

This time I found a plane that I guess makes the tongue of tongue/groove. It took me a while to figure it out but I’m sure that’s what it is. Correct me if I’m wrong. (If that is what it is, it would make a nice counterpart to my router plane, I think.)

Anyway, it was old, the blade looked a little rough but what do I know. Cost $20.
It’s still sitting on the shelf.

Uh, no pictures, didn’t happen. Nice yarn though.

I fear you are about to slide down a very slippery slope . . . good thing there are some LJ buddies on the same slope to catch you!

Don’t know, Deb, can’t see it. Did You find any godd apple pir on the trip? I’m still trying to find some place that has pie as good as Carleen makes. She says I’m too fat and won’t make any for me.

well actually….. we stopped at a bakery that is renowned in the region. I didn’t have apple pie but I did have a lovely cottage cheese pastry dessert that was DELISH.

You can always pop on by for a slice—I’m sure it won’t be as good as Carleen’s but it’s pie!
