A little sampling of my tools. My shop is always evolving. I recently sold my 5hp 2012 SawStop and used the money to purchase a house, but I consider the craftsman contractor saw to be an upgrade (even without a fence). You wouldn’t believe the amazing deals you can find on CraigsList! Just recently my wife allowed me to move my tools underneath the carport so they don’t get rained on as much. This allowed me to upgrade to a 20’ 14gauge extension cord, and you wouldn’t believe how much better my scroll saw runs! I just wish it had a ground…. For the time being, my dust collection is a leaf blower that is wired to kick on with my tablesaw. It works great as long as you are standing up-wind. My bench (pic#5) is a modified roubo that I desinged myself. If only I had thought to do a video blog during that build, ughh! But I may still have the detailed drawing for the bench if you are interested. I rarely ever throw napkins away.

I hate to throw a commercial in here, but if you know anyone looking for some “museum quality” furniture built please let me know. I don’t like to brag, but I’ve been told many times that my tools could be in a museum.

Your shop is coming along nicely.
If I may, I didn’t see a workbench.
I found a great deal for 1 on craigslist. If you would like I could pick it up for you. He’s only asking $1200.00

Iwud4u, I’m not sure how you missed my roubo inspired bench, but here’s the pic.

I would love to have that bench you found, but I’m a little skeptical. That bench is worth way more than $1200

I can see the fundamentals of your thinking, although I hate to shatter your dreams because I recall a similar model introduced by a Mr Black, or was it Decker some time ago . However, that said the bench must have taken a while and a great deal of work to get it into that condition.

If you were not so far away I would commission you to build all of my furniture.

While on the same tread, the poster of that $1200 bench is having a laugh, somewhere in the region of $6-650 would be a fairer price but only when bubble gum retails at around $750,000.

Great work, totally awe inspiring, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Thank you, David. I too wish you lived closer. I would love to give you some free woodworking lessons.

And don’t get me started on that scoundrel Mr. Decker. He has been ripping off my designs for years!

P.S.
Sometimes I fail to plan, but I never just, just fail to plan. That’s obscene!

I never thought I would see a RAS older than mine.

Thanks for posting and making me smile.

Cheers!
