I retired in September 2018 after a career as a facility engineer doing HVAC and mechanical maintenance on commercial buildings. I am a Christian, I try to live with the goal of loving God and I am quite involved in volunteering at church.
Woodworking is a hobby that I enjoy. I seem drawn mostly to building furniture. I am fond of tools but I have found that owning them does not necessarily mean I am skilled at using them. I feel that patience is one of the more essential qualities of a woodworker.

I built this dresser for my new grandson and I hope it will last a lifetime. I used white oak and Michael Peckovich’s plans form Fine Woodworking. It is by far the biggest project I have ever undertaken.

Bob. This is a beautiful dresser. Your build pictures show real craftsmanship. Great job.
