This week I used the band saw to cut an angle on the lags.

Then sand the cut part flat with the belt sander.
Then the lags and end aperons flat on the table. Then lined them up and score them together.
Then turn both parts on the side. I grab the rail and lade it flat. Then level the two parts with the rail and screw them together.

Then measured the bottom part of the railing 4 inches down to screw the lower railing.

I have no idea why the two pictures are upside down.

Just curious, did you use an iPhone to take pictures or post them?

This is a common issue with them.
