Just starting out on the woodworking trail, currently taking a Fine Woodworking Course which has given me the impetus to finally do what I have always dreamed of and that is making wood into beautiful creations some of which I have seen on this site.

There are some clever people about and I bow to their knowledgable and creative minds and wish some day to emulate some of their work. If I get to that stage I will post my endeavours for comment but until then I will gladly sit in their shadow and learn.

Thank you all for your welcome it is appreciated, I think this site is fantastic and wish I had taken the plunge into wood in my youth.
