Hello all!

Kicking things off here with the renovation of the Delta 34 410 Contractor Table Saw I just picked up on Craig’s List.

Cleaning it up will be the first order of business. Unsticking the blade angle gearing is part of that. The gearing can get to 45 degrees but only with lotsa torqueing it once past 30 degrees or so. That’s not right so I gotta dig in to the guts of it.

Once cleaned up I’ll be checking its runout and making changes from there.

I’m actually looking forward to cleaning the big cast iron table. It’s pretty well kept thus far but could be improved. So, I’ll be to that.

I’ll also be to doing things to handle the dust / debris situation. I’ve seen some other guys on YouTube who’ve come up with some clever approaches for handling that.

Anyway, gotta start somewhere if I want to be able to get to all the projects I wanna make!
