My grandfather was a carpenter.
My father was a carpenter / general contractor.
I started apprenticing at 10, framing crew at 15, and was a journeyman carpenter at 18.
Over 60 now, been woodworking ever since and I still have all ten.

*Trees are living creatures.
*Wood is the 'bones' of those creatures.
*Treat their bones as you would have your bones treated - with respect.
*Don't cut down a redwood to make a toothpick.
*Discard nothing but sawdust and recycle that if you can.
*Use glue instead of metal wherever possible.

I also have an old account on here MADMARK that has more examples of my work.
