« Part 8: Upper cabinet construction Part 9 of Lee and Shelley's Wet Bar series no next part

This past Sunday, we got ‘em hung on the wall. The homeowner didn’t know I was building wine bottle storage and hangers for stem ware glasses. She is tickled.

Installation was easy and straight forward. I used a pair of cabinet jacks made from plywood, 1/2 inch pipe and 3/8 inch all thread. They worked great. Thanks to my friend MobilePaul for the idea. A 9/16 wrench makes adjustments simple and easy.

And now for some action shots! :-) Provided courtesy of the homeowner.

Done deal!

Once the glass shelves get cut and installed, I will go back and take some project complete shots.

Wow very nice work. Just caught up with this thread. Super clean looking I would be very proud if I were you. That homemade cabinet jack is a great idea. I will favorite this page if it’s okay with you to remember that one.

Thanks. When I get a few minutes, I will take a few pics of the jack and post them as a project.

Here is the latest pic from the homeowner. They had the dry bar top replaced with the same granite as the wet bar. And they have installed new lighting. It appears everything is just about complete.

I need to stop by and take a few pics.
