An outlet for cutting boards

On a whim I stopped by a local trophy and plaque store last week to ask them if they saw a market for my cutting boards. Turns out that they engrave a lot of cutting boards and were very interested in my wave design boards. Seems a lot of their corporate customers and the local university’s meat market give away a lot of engraved cutting boards. They also asked me to do some 9 X 12 sample plaques. They did ask me to redesign the boards so that there is a lot of open “maple” space for engraving.

For those LJs who are making this style of boards, you might want to check with local trophy and plaque retailers to see if they are interested in your work.
