I need help with cutting a circle on the bandsaw. I made a jig and have the dowel slightly in front of the blade. I’m trying to cut a 24” dia circle on a 14” Grizzly with a 1/4 ” blade. The cut keeps spiraling inward. The blade was actually pulled from the alignment bearings. It moved inward 1/2” in a 1/4 circle. Any suggestions, Thanks.

Welcome aboard. Nice that you could join us on Lumberjocks.
Regarding your question, please try posting it in one of the forums (there is a skill share forum that would work nicely.) You will get more responses there. Simply click on forums at the top of this page then click on “Show All Forums” and locate the correct forum. Good luck !

I tried to post a question and I get a message that I can’t until my first post is reviewed and approved. How do I get that done?

They must have added a approval process for new sign ups. If you would like, do a search on the upper right corner of this page for Martin Sojka. Locate one of his posts and click on it. He is the one that operates the site. He should be able to help you. Or another option is to click on jocks at the top of this page and locate Debbie P…she is in the second row first one on the left side…in the bomber hat….click on her picture and right under the picture you can click on send message. She works with Martin on site issues.
