LeOmkr

I am a student of Master of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I got interested in woodworking after I saw some amazing projects by a few of my classmates who worked in the University woodshop and fabrication lab. I decided to take up a class in furniture design last spring and I recently completed my first ever woodworking project which I like to call, The Overhang Chair in Walnut. I am proud of my project because I chose to take on a difficult project, inspired by the great woodworker, George nakashima, and did a pretty good job on it.

I have found woodworking to be theraputic and wish to pursue my passion of woodworking in the future to come. I am yet a beginner and I have a long way to go but I hope I will get better with time.
