Shop Update #7: DIY Boom Arm - Vacu Press & Split Top Roubo
Here’s an update what’s been going on in the shop the last 6 months. I’ve moved some tools around, made a DIY Boom Arm off the wall that got my vacuum hose off the ground. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azPIzw2k2y0

welcome to LJ’s. you’ve got a good start goin on there. you’ve definately come to the right place for info, ideas, techniques, how to, etc. everything associated with any type of woodworking you’d like to tackle. have a good time, but, most importantly, be safe

Welcome…. You will love it here. Great start on your shop and woodworking. Nice profile pic as well. Behind every great man there is a even greater Woman. I think you can tell alot about a person from they’re smile. If it wasn’t for Blondies full support in my woodworking I wouldn’t have 1/2 the tools and fun. Remember to hug her and say thx it will get you more tools LOL ….Enjoy
Your on the buddy list so I can see more of your projects when posted…

Welcome to Lumberjocks. This is a great place to hang out online. BTW, might as well ad an a/c unit to your tool list if you plan to woodwork year round. LOL Speaking from experience, I’m just south of you in Norman. I know all about the heat. :-)

I enjoyed looking around your shop and your videos. My wife and i are looking to buy a house soon and we are constantly going back and forth over how much space my shop should take up. looks like you got real lucky in that regard. keep up the nice work

Nice shop and sander cabinet! We both look to be around same age and its good to see someone that enjoys woodworking and finds time to do so with a busy family, career and kids. Goodluck!
