Part 1: New Sawhorses
The documentation of the taming of my workshop. In order to save space I’ve replaced my sawhorses. I was previously using a apair of old kitchen corner cabinets and moving those around as needed. While fairly light they are bulky and awkward. I’ve decided they would be put to better use in the laundry room. To replace those I purchased four Ebco folding sawhorses for $10 each on sale at Menards.The caps on the top of them was an idea from The Family Handyman.
Part 2: A Couple of New Goodies
Due to lack of charging of the batteries of my Ryobi miter saw I found myself using a handsaw frequently. It took a few times to get the hang of it and after that I realized it didn’t take a horrible amount of time to cut through 2xs. One thing that nagged me was the push stroke so, after reading a few forum posts on Japanese saws, I decided to purchase a Ryoba Noko Giri.
