This is going to be the ramp part.

This one is going to be the side inset and capped by the ramp (picture above).

I need to find a way to topcoat it so it will have good wear as it will have a heavy electric wheelchair rolling on it.

what about putting some removable runners on top that would take the brunt of the wheel chair wheels? maybe some 1×10s?

She wants this. Honestly, I would have done it out of decking material. I have a stout 2×4 structure supporting it. It is only coming off an 8” step down from a kitchen to a living room.
