Most of my projects are for things around the house, so it seems I end up doing a little bit of everything. It’s fun though to keep learning new things. My shop is a two car garage that cars don’t go into anymore. At least not without a lot of rearranging, and even then, it’s only one car. Would love to have more space but, it works. I'm an engineer by profession and have spent most of my career at Boeing. I worked on the 787 during its development and into production. Now I’m doing custom/unique features that airlines want in their passenger cabin for the 777-8 and 777-9. What I like about woodworking is the same as what attracted me to engineering. Starting with the idea and eventually being able to touch the finished product.
