291 posts in 4932 days Location: Near Wichita, Kansas I have moved away from my hometown and therefore away from all of my Dad's tools and my Grandpa's. I have been busy remodeling my house and getting tools gathered up for my new shop. My wife and I recently moved to a small town outside of Wichita. I am an estimator in the construction industry. Most of my recent background has been in electrical work and commercial general contracting. My passion for woodworking comes from my grandpa. I have not done much woodworking since he passed away, but am trying to get back into it. My other passion (see my picture) is Kansas State University. -- Kevin, Wichita, Kansas Latest Activity | view all »

Beautiful crib! I have a new grandson and I hope I develop my skills to make him something beautiful. I might have it all figured out by the time he’s 10! I’m a K-State alum from ‘83!

Nice to meet you at the meeting Monday. I’m glad we’ll be meeting on Tuesdays because then I was going to have to choose between it and a regular commitment I have on the 4th Monday. It’s just worked out the past 3 times that my other meeting changed it’s week for some reason or another. I’m ready to get brave and start on some small projects where I get better at the detail stuff. Wow – I sure got a refresher course in geometry Monday night! And probably learned a lot I didn’t know.
