Ethan made a comment awhile back that if you get a chance you should join a Woodworking Guild.

I went looking and I never found one one in my area.

Surprise. I received a phone call 2 days ago asking if I would make a presentation at the Delaware Woodworking Guild, on the Cradle / Glider that I made to win the First LumberJock contest, and was presented in the February Issue of Woodcraft magazine.

I told them yes. So if you are close to Northern Delaware on the third Wed of May, May 16, 2007 come over to the guild meeting, and lets meet.

If you are interested in the info send me an e-mail and I’ll forward the directions to the meeting.

Good for you Karson.
Sorry, I won’t be able to make it to the meeting, my calendar is full. LOL

Congradulations! I wish I could be there, but that’s a long way from Kansas, if you know what I mean.

Congradulations Karson! I am proud for you. Be sure and plug Lumberjocks. We may even hit the 1000 mark before the end of May the way its been growing lately.

I won’t be able to make it, work keeps me tied down too much. It would be great if someone can record it or video it to share with the rest of us.

Good luck and if you get nervous, just pick on one or two people in the room and talk to them. I am sure you will do fine.

No problem with presentations. I’ve done them for years. I enjoy doing them.

As long as I’m the expert in the subject. In this one, that’s me.

that would be a guild meeting I would gladly attend, if it was closer. Think the folks would move their meeting to Wichita, or Emporia?

Proud of you too Karson, it was a great project, and you are a great friend.
