We have completed the entry phase of the Summer Contest

27 Entries have been entered into the Outdoor Projects.

18 Entries have been entered into the Joinery Projects.

Good luck to all entrants.

And we wish the best to each and everyone of them.

We also wish the best who were unable to complete in time or were unable to even get started.

There will be more contests and challenges. I’d like a greater number next time.

Thanks Karson. Good luck to you too. There was quite a last minute rush for entries. Glad to see the joinery get over 15. Best of luck to all.

Yes good luck to everyone. I was unable to get going on this challenge as I had hoped. Though I had a couple of projects to try out, I was distracted by a flood and a break-in. I hope to enter upcoming challenges! It’s going to be hard to pick a winner…as usual! I hope everyone takes the time to go through all the entries. There are some really awesome ones!

Thanks and good luck to you too Karson as well as all the entrants! You’re an inspiration to all that post here. Also, we’re very lucky to have Martin who I know burns the midnight oil to keep this site the top notch woodworking forum that it is. God Bless and thanks again!!

Surprised there weren’t more entries as we voted on the categories… I can only guess that the distractions of summer vacations, heat, and in some cases… snow, played a small part. My distraction was a mix of trying to finish a three season porch – and spending quality time in front of the air conditioner – how I love the Fall…

Anyhow, best of luck to all… great showing, really really impressed with the entries – gonna take me a while to work out my top 5.

My excuse is work. I’ve gotten very little shop time.

Congrats to all the entrants! I wish I could have entered my bridge….:( . I’m amazed at the quality of the projects. Voting is definitely going to be tough.

I was surprised too Scott. Then of course I had to submit an older project myself. Tough when life gets in the way of the important things like woodworking contests…...:)

I wish my very best to all who entered.

I wish I could have entered something new, but maybe next time.

Now I’d like to see everybody get out, and vote for their favorites.
