So today I decided to start blogging about my journey. Not so that anyone would actually read it, but mostly as a way for me to look back and see where I started, assuming I get some place with the whole thing. Part 2: New Vocabulary

As I sit here at work, trying to wrap up my week, I keep thinking about the projects I am going to work on this weekend. The more I research different things, the more I learn, and the bigger my vocabulary grows. It amazes me that no matter what I learn, the nomenclature involved with it is so expansive and at times intimidating. So far, it hasn’t been to bad with woodworking. I know it can though. Part 3: Dust

So until we move, the only dust collection I have is two shop vans. They do a fine job as long as I remember to turn them on. I also wear a mask and dust goggles. To top it off I have a box fan with furnace filters on it. For the most part I am good to go, however, the worst happens if I forget a step. Apparently, I am allergic to the dust. Part 4: Grizzly Tent Sale #1

I went to the Grizzly tent sale this weekend in PA. It was quite the experience. First, I spoke to a rep on the phone who suggested that I get there about an hour ahead of time… Try 2-3 hours. By the time we go there, there were at least 200 people in front of us. By the time the tent sale opened, the line was SUPER long. When the clock struck 8am, you have never witnessed a line move as fast as this one. We were so far back and yet it took seconds ...
