Location: Glasgow, KY

budding woodworker; fully aware I have soooo much to learn. My husband and I are living in the house I began constructing in the 1990's. I call it my 10-year-weekend-project-from-hell. I'm trying to learn cabinet making now so I can custom build my kitchen. We have another rehab house we are working on, as well as maintaining my parents' home. We are getting lots of practice at making sawdust !

Thank you both ! I have spent the last 2 weeks looking at every photo on here, literally. I started on the last page and came forward, making notes, saving things I’d like to try. Next I’ll be pouring over the blogs and forums to glean anything that will help me learn tips to better skills, and hopefully, fewer mistakes in the meantime.
I need mentors, and LJ looked like a great place to find some.

thank you all for the welcome ! I’ve loved looking at the projects, so far, and I love the comaraderie I see here which prompted me to join.
