Here is my first project of this year, but I am sure not many woodworker here haven’t made these yet… Haha!
So do you know what this this is for?
Clue
1) I was asked to make this by somebody, I myself don’t need this at all.
2) The last photo shows the case of the thing. Meaning it will be carried around by the parson who asked this.
3) There is no moving part, really simple structure, but really important for the person who asked this.
It was really hard to find any source about this even with internet.
I will post this project to “projects” tomorrow or the day after, and you will see how it is used by a photo.

Timbo and rtb,
Not so far, but I think I have seen similar product somewhere on the net.

The sides lead me to think of containing small objects . I’m guessing a lap table for some type of craft.

I see the guitar case in the background, and also the tote bag. So maybe a rest/station for sound effect foot pedals?

Without knowing the actual dimensions but using the receptacle plate as a reference point, it appears to be rather large.

It’s a very nice, portable music stand. Don’t let my girlfriend see this…

On my itouch it looked like a board for cutting meat, where the juices would run off. but on the big screen it looks a lot different. I would say that its for effects pedals for an electric guitar.
By the way, Junji, I am cooking a tako right now for poke. I haven’t forgot about our trade, I’ll send you a message on facebook later!!
