Segmented Hollow Form #1: The plan and rings

This segmented piece will be made from canary wood, walnut, maple, macassar ebony, and black dyed veneer. I made the feature ring a few months ago while experimenting with various cut angles. This piece is designed around the feature ring. The two rings on the right will be cut in half on the bandsaw to make 1/4” thick rings which will go above and below the feature ring.

Looking good. I bet you use rubber bands for clamps sometimes like I do.
