Mine is a “potential” workshop at this point. I’ve been on a hiatus from woodworking for 3 years or so. I no longer own any of the big machines. I managed to retain a couple of routers, hand tools, clamps, etc. Also just moved into a new (to us) house. In addition to the attached 2-car garage on the main level, it also includes a little tuck-under garage on the basement level. Dimensions are 15’ x 16’ with a floor to joist height of 7’9”. It has an 8’ overhead door as well as a service door. I think it’ll make a nice, cozy workshop!

As I unpack my tools and begin to set-up shop, I’ll post pictures and updates here.

Jon, one of the most enjoyable things to do for a woodworker is to fix up a new shop and I’m sure that you will enjoy it. Welcome to Lumberjocks.

Indeed! I expect I may struggle to balance projects for the new shop vs. projects on the honey-do list to keep the Mrs. happy and supportive :)
