I really just want to learn as much as I can about this fabulous thing called Woodworking. Think of it as therapy for those of us trapped in the "Information Age" in desperate need of a creative outlet that lasts longer than a nanosecond. B)

Welcome Johnny. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Looks like you have a good start on that work shop. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks

Nice too meet another fellow canuck! I’ll be visiting your Lovely city in the February for a couple of weeks. I haven’t being there since I was 5 years old. I lived in Port Hardy and haven’t being back since i left in 1979.
I think I’ll have to make a trip up Island?
You’ll love it here at Lumber Jocks!

Many thanks for your kind remarks on my studio I suppose I feel a bit like a country cousin when I see the professional level of the North American workshops I see here. I’m sure your new Studio will be just as professional but maybe with more character than most. Thanks again
PS I spent 2 years in Canada many years ago but the closest I got to B.C. was Banff Alberta
