I would like to start a friendly competition based on the works of Frank Lloyd Wright. The rules are pretty basic and I have tried to make them so that anyone can enter no matter what your woodworking style is. 1) The piece must be based on a work or works of Frank Lloyd Wright. 2) The piece must be a box or vessel. For those who didn’t know about it or catch my first blog post about this, I figured we could have a fun little Frank Lloyd Wright inspired build off. The rules and time frame are all covered in the first blog in this series. The more the merrier. I hope to get a lot of people to enter. I think it will be cool to see what we all come up with. Part 3: I didn't finish.

I am ashamed to say that I didn’t finish my FLW box. I am close, but will not be finished for another week or two. Did anyone else get to do anything for this little inspired competition? When I first thought of this, I figured I had given myself plenty of time and then real life happened. While I had a great summer with my kids, I didn’t get nearly the amount of shop time I thought I would. I apologize to you all. I still plan to post my project once it is done. I hop...
