Hobbyist with a garage set up: the basic table saw, jointer, planer, bandsaw, routed etc.

Three teenagers, two dogs, one great wife and a Guinea pig

I really get into it last year when I started with a bookcase for my wife. Since then it's been non stop, a couple of beds, tables, cabinets, and just recently I really nice dresser for my daughter. Each project gets a bit more complicated and I am really enjoying the new challenges.

Can't wait to post some project pictures.

Hi Everyone

Newbie to both this website and woodworking.

Hoping someone can help me with a tool problem. I have a Maikta 2012 (older model not the NB) that had the motor stop and I can’t seem to find any type of reset. I jammed it being a little to aggressive with some maple and the engine shut off and I can’t get it reset. I read a little about cutter head locks, is this what the issue is? How do I safely un jam it?

Have your say...
