Got into woodworking back in '05. Still consider myself a beginner with a LOT to learn. Being mostly a weekend warrior, I have only done a handful of projects. Still making those beginner mistakes. Will never be a world class woodworker, but that's ok. I do it for the enjoyment of creating something with my hands, not for fame and fortune.

Welcome Joe! You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. I think that you will find that there are not a lot of world class woodworkers here at LumberJocks. Looking forward to see your projects, comments, and shop. Have fun and work safe.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Even though I don’t bring much experience to the table, I’m really enjoying this hobby. I wish I had gotten into it sooner. I’m kinda embarrassed to put any pictures of my “shop” or projects on here. Especially after seeing some of the other member’s stuff. I’m on the LOW end of what I can afford to buy, equipment wise. But, I’m enjoying it anyway.
