The screw’s main baring is what’s next on the to-do list.

In the real world the main baring is usually made of stone, But occasionally it is made of wood ( Guaiacum officinale)


Starting with the lumber


Making mortis and tenons


Fitting all the parts


And the finished part

That you have Guaiacum officinale, at least that’s what I understand from it. That is special.

I have a part of a very old broken wooden pulley (see the first picture) But that’s more than enough for this small mill
