Where to buy in northern wi - 5 replies

I’m looking to buy some sawn 4/4 lumber in soft maple and red oak in north central Wisconsin. Quantity is small lots. 100 to 200 board feet. I will be making wall cabinets and desk. Maple is for face frames and oak for desk. If anyone knows where I can buy some please let me know.

Parallel clamps versus pipe clamps versus squeeze clamps - 7 replies

Are parallel clamps worth the investment. Most of my work so far is cabinets including drawer boxes and doors. The squeeze clamps and pipe clamps want to pull parts out of flat. I bought a used UniSaw and took most of it apart to clean it up but missed seeing a blade had spun on arbor. I know the blade that came with it was garbage but everything pretty much checked out ok. When I was aligning blade to miter slot I normally setup a dial indicator to check runout. Found nearly .03” on a brand new blade. Uh oh…...
