Go figure. I was at the local Woodcraft, picking up some stuff for my dust collection setup when I noticed a SawStop in the back – so I thought I’d check it out for a bit, not really having a chance to when I’d been in the store before (I usually hit it on my lunch break, since it’s around the corner from my work). I had read that it had a tool-less riving guard, so I popped the ZCI out and poked around, seeing that it has a twist lever for release. The force to use the lever was pretty heavy, that is until the last quarter turn was left – at which time my hand slipped right up into the underside of the riving knife’s pawls. I’m not sure if ...
