Tips for finishing a redwood bench swing - 2 replies

I just finished making a bench swing out of reclaimed red wood. I am planning on spraying it with a natural stain (a few coats) and then I am not sure on what to use to seal the bench. Someone recommened for me to use a Cabots poly? Any ideas?
