« Part 2: The Fenders Part 3 of Model Build #2 : The Hummer series Part 4: Side & Back Panels »

Here is my version of the seats for the Hummer. Instead of making it out of one piece of wood, I divided it into 4 sections and placed a 1/8” roundover on the sides and glued them back together. The seats are made out of Walnut. I got the idea from the seats from Dutchy’s Buick build. I like that design in the seats.

It was htl which started with making chairs out of dowels, so you can say it was his idea.

It’d be hard to take a seat and sit back and admire… so I’ll just stand back and drool.

Nice innovation J.

Hmm, great sentiment GR8, however, a dicky trailer with a lo-o-o-ng tow bar would provide a more silent ride!
