Because of the good response of my mini picnic table condiment holder I decided to take the concept a bit further. I am about 2 weeks out for this project due to some other scheduling but wanted to go ahead and get the sketchup design knocked out. Here are 2 videos. The first is 36 seconds showing how I got the idea and the second is the design process in sketchup.

Looks like a great project. It’s also the best tutorial for Sketch Up I have seen.

Great job speaking through sketch Up while you are working the commands. I found your sketch up as interesting or more than the project. The simplicity of the project is what allows the viewer to listen closely to the commands.
You need to do more of these types of videos.
I tried sketch up once or twice and found it very difficult. Your video is inviting.

Have your say...
