Hello Everyone, Well, I have to be honest and let you know that I am new at this. Even though I have dabbled in some sort of woodworking over the years, I have never really tried to hone my skills. Then, last year I became sick, and to make a long story shorter, was diagnosed with PTSD and have been recovering since. Now, don’t feel sorry for me. Even though some doors closed, God is good and opened some windows. I don’t have a shop per say, but have to work under my carport. I am still trying to gear up my tool selection right now. I have several things I would like to build and as soon as I get some pics I will post them. Anyway, I look forward to learning and hearing from everyone. Bye now.
P.S.- Thank you for the warm welcome, Gene in Virginia.

We are all in a learning state of mind here. We learn from each other.

By the way: Welcome to the one and only LumberJocks.

I know all about being sick…Had a kidney transplant four years ago.

If you should need any woodworking question answered, don’t hesitate to ask. Somebody’s gonna have a good answer for you.

God Speed.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks. it’s good to have another Louisiana woodworker on the Forum. As for being a beginner – most of us are beginners, some just further along than others – of course we also have our share of Master Craftsmen & ladies on the site as well. This provides a wealth of information for us.
