So, jobs are hard to come by these days and so life has been on hold. No job means no new house and no new house means no shop, and no shop means no woodworking. But that’s ok, patience is a virtue. Anyway I’ve been using all my spare time to experiment with sketchup and to read a lot of books. Here is the workbench I designed with the help of Christopher Schwartz’s Workbench Design Book.

This will have to do until I gain so meaningful employment. I sent out a few resumes today, hopefully I hear something soon.

Looks very sturdy and will last several lifetimes

Looks great.
I know how the no job thing is, I’ve been unemployed over a year.
Hang in there, it’ll get better.
Heck, I’ve considered coming out to Saskatchewan or Alberta to look for work.
