This course is a 5 day course on basic cabinet making. Day 1 was spent learning about cabinets and their construction, safety, breaking down sheet goods and doing the face frame. Day 2 was assembling the basic cabinet. Day 3 was work on the door and drawer. Day 4 was assembling the drawer, work on the baseboard trim. Day 5 was the top, back, and any final finishing details. Yes, I do know that Steel City is no more, but I figure, why not review it anyway, as someone may still be interested in purchasing one while they are being clearanced out. To be clear, I just purchased this today, so my experience is very limited with it, so take it for what it’s worth. I was able to purchase it on clearance, so I got what I felt was a good deal. I’ve slowly been getting into woodworking over the last couple years. Since I began purchasing planes and chisels, I would just use them as-is, right out of the box. I had a fear that if I tried to sharpen them, I’d manage to somehow screw them up. Last month when I was in Sears, I found a WorkSharp WS3000 in the clearance section.
