Retired high tech executive with a life-long passion for woodworking. Learned what I could as a youth from my dad, a tool and die maker and accomplished craftsman, and picked up the rest over the years through trial and error, reading articles, and tapping the knowledge of experts like those on this board. Started my shop with tools that I inherited from my dad. I've upgraded much of the machinery over the years as I could afford to with the exception of a 1939 Delta model 1460 lathe which is probably still the most durable and well made machine in my shop.

Born and raised in the Boston area, we now make our home in Ohio now that we're retired. Enjoy playing a little golf when I can, and pursuing my woodworking hobby now that I have more time on my hands. As an amateur, I've never sold a thing. My house is littered with many of my projects with the rest having been given away as gifts.
