Hello guys,
My name is Hugo and I'm new to the wood world. I've always liked tools and wood. Life took me to get a degree in electronics and I currently work with sensors of different types but I decided that I wanted to get into wood since I think it is a very noble activity that I see myself doing from now until I can't use a tool anymore.
Given the economic turmoil my dad (in the pic with me) lost his job so we decided that probably we could work together, enjoy our company and start doing something with our hands and wood. For that you'll eventually see me asking many questions and trying to post whatever I think can be of use to somebody else. I see this is a great, supportive and big community so I can't wait to get on board.
Best regards!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
