This is my second attempt in a few years to be more involved in woodworking. Being disabled and dealing with chronic pain is an annoying distraction from the more interesting things in life.
As I wrote a few years ago... I'm a complete rookie when it comes to woodworking. I took woodshop in Jr. Highschool back in the seventies. And I've only read a few books on the subject. I picked up a few tools over the years and my family has bought me a few more.
I am disabled and having a renewed interest in woodworking I'm learning...slowly and making plenty of mistakes! ANY and ALL advice is welcomed with a GREATFUL heart!
Right now my workshop consists of a 12" Craftsman bandsaw, 4x36" Craftsman sanding station, Porter Cable 7529 router. a 16" Craftsman scrollsaw and assorted sanders, drills, rotary tools and other assorted hand tools. So far I've been keeping busy just trying to turn the garage into a good place to work.
