Small, 400sq ft, purpose built shop, currently under construction.
This summer has been dedicated to the structure, electrical, insulation and finishes with outfitting the shop very shortly. As it is just myself doing the work, it has been a slow-go, mainly on weekends, but gratifying.

Do you store your stock inside the shop??

I would like to build a similarly sized shop but am struggling with making the most of the space without blowing up the budget!!

The dimensions are 14’x28’. It was built by Amish shed builders in one day, on site. I had a garage slab laid as a foundation. All the finishes, flooring, electrical and insulation I did myself.
For heating, I have a small, oil filled radiator going just to keep it above freezing, and when I’m actually out there working, I use a Friedrich AC with built in heater. I don’t have natural gas or propane, so all the heat is electric.
