I like Celtic and Viking style decoration, and Shaker design.

Cherry's my favorite.

Mostly hand tools, but I definitely prefer power tools for gross dimensioning and repeat operations.

I prefer natural finishes - tung oil, beeswax, Tried & True Varnish Oil, etc. Haven't played with shellac yet, but I do have some, so I'll remedy that soon enough.
