no previous part Part 1 of Building a new workshop series no next part

Not much has been happening for me since my wife died a year ago. I finally sold my other house and have to move out of the house and workshop to a new one at my house. This was a dream that my wife and I had for a long time, just never had the money to do it. Now I do. This new building will be a 24 by 24 two story workshop, with a 14 by 24 single garage attached to it. It will be fully insulated in the first floor of the work shop, windows and 3 garage doors, 2 on the work shop and one on the garage. All my lumber, hardware and stuff will go up on the reinforced second floor. An outside door on the second floor so that we can hand up lumber and stuff, insulated roof so it will not sweat on the wood and stuff.
They are digging the footers and back wall drain, getting ready for the concrete today. Once the 4 layers of blocks go up the rest of the building will go up fairly fast. 9 foot ceilings with More coming…...

Great looking shop. I’m sure your wife is smiling down and overseeing the process.
