    Howdy Folks,

Well here it is, a right livable 103 degrees at 2:40 with 22% Humidity, ... out here in the desert that is just shirt sleeve weather.
there is a nice gentle breeze blowing westerly that has the flag fluttering and lookin' good. The last storm that we had last week reaped havoc on the flag … need to replace it as it has each stripe a flag of it's own … Enter the pet peeve … I refuse to buy an American flag made in some foreign country … I look on the internet and order one that is made here in the United States. ... End of rant.

I didn't work in the shop today, I did my wifely chores around the house, I got the laundry done and all the dishes out of the dishwasher and put back into the cabinets where they live … swept the floors and made the house ready for the housekeeper that will be here this week … (I just can't let her know what a pig i really am).

Well ya'll be safe in what you do, blood is really hard to clean off of the machinery.

    aka; knockonit

lol, just a nickname i picked up when i was a kid running team horse races, the term knockonit was to hit the wagon seat with something hard to skeer the horses. I was known to knockonit pretty hard. lol

Thank you for welcoming me to this wonderful online community.

I am learning by trial and error how to sharpen my chisels. I have not been successful at doing a good job at it. I bought a couple of books about it and I am getting better but I guess that I would need a lot of practice. If you have any advice for me I would greatly appreciate it.

I like your projects and if you don't mind I am taking inspiration from your clamp rack project. I am adding to my clamps and very soon I would require proper storage. When I build one I will post it. Thank you again.
