Sadly, Grumpy has passed away after long battle with Lukemia

To Dad's lumberjock buddies

I know Dad enjoyed to share his love of woodworking on this site and the banter with his buddies

I intend to finish his final wood turning project he'd started, but was to weak to finish.

Some of his beloved wood offcuts that he could not bare to part with, will be interned with him.

Sincerely
Ian (Son)

Very, very sad. I got a lot of enjoyment seeing his projects by way of forum emails. After realizing that my poor health will never allow me back in my shed I've arranged to give away the total contents of my shed (shop) to family and friends.

Thank you Ian.
Very sad news as we'd talked a few times about trying to catch up living 30mins from each other.
Remember and talk about all the good times, the funny things as Tony wasn't to my way of think worthy of his handle! RIP Grimpy.

Thank you to Tonys Son Ian for posting of Tony's passing.

A great loyal member here, a good bloke with two of the longest-running Forum Topics on this site.

Tony, I will miss our Phone conversations and Private Messages, conversing mainly about travel Itineraries, Cruise ships, and which hotels to stay in around the world.
We missed each other by a day back in March 2019 in Hong Kong, It's a shame you never got out to Sai Kung on that particular trip. If your family is ever through Hong Kong let me buy you a drink as you Tony promised me I could buy you one someday.
You were the first guy to make me realize what a great community it is here at Lumberjocks, you befriended me almost on day one of me joining here.

Rest In Peace Tony.
Anthony and Cheryl (Hong Kong)

PS: As Lovie Cheryl is getting out of bed I explained the tragic news to her, her first comment was I still have his Christmas card and the pen holder he made and sent to us is on our Farm. (Kyogle NSW)
Christmas card made by Wife Maureen or in Tony words on the Card "P.S, Mo made this card"
A little memory , RIP Tony.

Its so hard to lose your loved ones…but the good memories will carry you on. Forget/forgive the bad ones and realize he's apart of you, and you where apart of him.

...and pass on the good stories to your family.
