Hi all! Thanks for viewing my profile.

I'm 30 years old and I live in Winchester VA with my wife and two small children. Professionally, I am an ER charge nurse but woodworking has certainly become my passion. I worked through high school and college with my best friend for his dad who owns 80+ rental properties; we fixed up units after tenants moved out. Most of my handy man skills came from that experience and it seemed to lead naturally into woodworking as I accumulated more and more tools.

I enjoy furniture and tool making with the occasional toy thrown in for the kids. I have had three workshops in the past 5 years so it seems I spend more time building tools, jigs, and benches than anything that has a destiny outside of the shop. Now that we are in the home where we will stay for the foreseeable future I am enjoying doing the things that I couldn't justify in the past.
